Mission Statement
Three Missions—One Goal:
To reach out, transform, and educate disciples for Christ.
Our Values
PROCLAIM God’s saving message of Christ
By administering the sacraments,
By teaching God’s inspired and inerrant Word,
By sharing Christian fellowship through Word and prayer,
By forgiving those around us,
By encouraging unity among our members,
By evangelizing God’s grace,
And by nurturing others through the power of the Holy Spirit that we might all become more affective servants in God’s Kingdom.
Our Vision
We will…
Prioritize the regular study of God’s Word
Teach doctrine as expressed in our Lutheran Confessions
Openly talk to others about our faith and love of Jesus
Promote regular worship both at home and at church
(Obedience to Commandments 1-3)
Create a family atmosphere centered on Christ’s love
Express Christ’s love to each other in what we say and do
(Obedience to Commandments 4-10)
Our vision is to fulfill will of our Lord Jesus Christ that His disciples should preach the Gospel to the whole world (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8). That Christ’s mission for His church might be carried out according to His will, he has commanded that Christians unite in worship (Hebrews 10:23-25), practice fellowship with one another (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20), and serve the needs of all men in Christian love (Ephesians 4:7-16, Mark 10:42-44, John 12:35, Galatians 6:10). As disciples of Christ, we also follow His command to administer the Office of the Keys (John 20:21-23, Matthew 18:15-20), and administer the sacrments of Baptism and Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins.
